Managing Director of Delingua appointed as vice-chairperson of the Association of Finnish Translation Companies
The Association of Finnish Translation Companies (SKTOL) elected Katja Virtanen, Managing Director of Delingua, as a member of the board at its autumn meeting on 2 December 2012. She will also act as the vice-chairperson of the Association.
Founded in 1983, SKTOL is an organisation of knowledge-driven companies operating in the translation business in Finland. It promotes the interests of member companies, users of translation services, translators and the field at large.
New features on the website
Delingua’s website has been renewed. Now you can find a link to the login page for the Plunet customer interface on the front page, and read our current blog postings by clicking on the link in the upper menu. In addition, we have published our entire website in Swedish and English.
Excellent customer feedback for 2011
According to the customer satisfaction survey carried out in November of 2011, Delingua’s customers continue to appreciate the speed, quality and customer-oriented approach of our service. A total of 270 customers responded to the questionnaire, of which 96% would recommend Delingua to others.
Someone's talking in your ear
The Helsinki Times newspaper published an article in issue 24 (16-22 June 2011) entitled “Someone’s talking in your ear”, which tells about Delingua’s interpreters and interpreting.

Delingua and WWF sign a cooperation agreement
Delingua and WWF have sealed their years of ongoing cooperation by entering into a cooperation agreement. With this agreement Delingua supports the valuable work of WWF Finland by providing the Fund with translation services. WWF requires the services of a translation agency for translating international WWF material (press releases, reports and studies) into Finnish and Finnish communications material into Swedish.
Delingua’s interpreters to work for the state administration
Delingua’s interpreting services and Hansel Oy, which manages procurement for the Finnish state administration, signed a cooperation agreement in January of 2009 for arranging conference interpreting at the national level. The blanket agreement is valid for four years.
The high quality and knowledge-driven interpretation services by Delingua have allowed it to quickly become one of Finland’s top providers of conference interpreting. Several ministries and bureaus have already benefitted from Delingua’s skilled interpreting at international conferences, but now all of the bureaus and departments in the state administration will have the opportunity to improve the quality of their interpreting by using Delingua!
